How to arrange hydrangeas

Hydrangeas are beautiful when grouped in clumps.

I arranged flowers for the entrance of Mizoe Gallery in Denenchofu.

Hydrangea is my favorite flower because it is an aggregate of tiny flowers. I love a sum of little flowers.

They are an aggregate of tiny flowers and are even more beautiful when grouped.

I arranged the hydrangeas in the front of the flower arrangement, where they stand out the most.

Blue hydrangeas with yellow

This time, I chose blue hydrangeas. Blue flowers, such as iris, BlueStar, and delphinium, are rare and stand out even outdoors.

I added yellow oncidiums as a complement. Yellow is the opposite color of blue. Yellow (the contrasting color) enhances blue.

Mix in white hydrangeas to become a bright image.

When white hydrangeas are added, the image becomes fresher and brighter!

combined with airy, fluffy flowers and branches

The fluffy atmosphere of the hydrangea is enhanced when combined with airy, fluffy flowers and branches such as haze grass, oncidiums, and  azalea.

Hydrangeas last a long time!

Hydrangeas are precious flowers in the early summer, and they can last as long as 1 week as the cut flowers if Hydrangeas can absorb the water successfully.

To keep hydrangea fresh, the water of the vace should change daily.

Put Alum on the cut ends of hydrangeas!

However, hydrangeas sometimes cannot absorb the water well when we cut them.

Putting Alum on the cut ends of hydrangeas will help hydrangeas drink the water. Alum can be purchased at supermarkets or online for a few hundred yen.

If you do not have Alum, use salt instead.

we hope you will try arranging them in your home.
